The Back Widow- Victim 1

I stopped my feet and turned my head
and watched her conceal her run
she raised an eyebrow and smiled at me
icy and warm like the Alaskan sun.

I knew her, for sure, but where? How?
Twirling her hair in her hand, she softly said,
"What are you doing here so late?
Shouldn't you be in bed?"

"No," I said defiantly, puffing out my chest
"But wait, hey, don't I know you?"
A look of evil passed her face, and surprisingly,
she replied, "Yes. Yes, you do."

The knife then shone in her hand, and I looked
for an escape route, maybe even some abandoned road.
"Nowhere to hide, little one," she whispered,
her eyes taking on an evil mode.

"Nowhere to hide...nowhere to run,"
she smirked, her arms strong than they look.
"So just relax, baby, the deed is nearly done."
"Why?" I asked, but the words stuck on my lips.

I was merely one of the victims
of a Black Widow's power
a woman who ruined my life
in one, simple hour.
